Let’s talk about the importance of professional real estate headshots!
It’s no secret that the real estate market is rapidly changing. And now, more than ever, the competition is fierce. But one thing is for sure, working in real estate is very much about building personal relationships with your clients. So, before those clients even “come through the door” how do you get them to stand up and take notice of the unique experience you provide?
A big part of what makes a client reach out to one real estate agent versus another is visual content! How you portray yourself and the experience you provide through your social media channels, pr, and marketing! If you were looking for a trustworthy realtor in your local market, would you be more apt to reach out to a professional that portrayed themselves up front & center in the digital space? Or the realtor who only ever shared photos of homes? How would you know who to trust, or work with, if you didn’t know who was on the other end? Building in the know, like, and trust factor through visual content is the driving factor behind a potential client clicking “inquire” with you, versus your competition!
The know, like, and trust factor is powered by the idea that clients are more likely to work with you if they can form that personal connection in advance. So how do we work together to build the know, like, and trust factor into your professional real estate headshots?
Here are a few ways I achieve this when working with my clients:
- Capturing professional real estate headshots that leave an everlasting first impression
- Building credibility into your business by modernizing your headshots and keeping them fresh and relevant. I personally recommend shooting new headshots once every quarter or at a minimum, twice per year!
- Creating a variety of images showcasing your experience by including professional in-studio headshots, paired with headshots taken in a home that you have worked in or are currently working in.
Those three elements are really only just the beginning! There are so many nuances between commercial real estate headshots and residential real estate headshots. Not to mention attire, posing, and expressions! If you’re ready to stand out among the crowd, keep reading.
