My team and I often travel to corporate conferences to shoot photography for our clients and their hundreds of employees! Corporate conferences and events are a great opportunity to capture behind-the-scenes moments of speaking engagements, team-building exercises, and headshots! Having worked at several corporate events in Buckhead & downtown Atlanta, I thought I would use my previous experience to go over some of the things that are most important to corporate conference photography.
Ask Your Employees to Be Ready for Headshots!
Corporate conferences are a great opportunity to refresh your employee’s headshots. Everyone is gathered in one location making it quick & easy to update this vital piece of visual content! I have an entire team behind my brand. This allows us to work on various aspects of the conference at the same time. For headshots, I’ll typically set up an on-location studio. Doing so allows up to capture headshots while events are happening, the trade show booths are open, and your most treasured employees are at the podium!
Don’t Overlook Your Speakers
Have you been asked to speak at a corporate conference? That is a major accomplishment! Whether you are overseeing a training, sharing your industry expertise, or bringing your innovative ideas to the microphone, it’s a moment worthy of being captured! Photos of you or your employees speaking on stage are social proof of being forward-thinking industry leaders. Make sure to provide a scheduled list of times your speakers will be hitting the stage so we can capture each and every one of them!
Group Photos are Always Possible!
So you want to capture the team that works diligently behind the scenes, but there are quite a few of you? There’s always a way to make it happen! The power of a company lies in the ability of its team members. Presenting your team as one unified group will show your investors, partners, and clients exactly who is working for them behind the scenes!
Behind the Scenes
So many interesting things are constantly happening behind the scenes at corporate conferences. There are networking events, cocktail parties, and break-out celebrations happening everywhere you turn. Each of these moments should be captured! Curating those behind-the-scenes moments are what will lift the corporate veil, only for a moment, to show the hearts & personalities of your team!
